ESG Analysis Certification in Latin America
Launched in 2022, the Specialised Certification Program in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Analysis, is an initiative organised by GOVERNART think tank & Spanish-American ESG consulting firm, in association with the Santiago Stock Exchange (BCS), with the support of the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation (IFRS) with the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) as certifying institution of the exam.

About the programme
The goal of the initiative is to train Latin America-based professionals in the analysis and integration of ESG matters, in the corporate and sustainability business strategies of companies, as well as in the responsible investment strategies of institutional investors. The content of the ESG Specialised Certification Program delivered through 19 interactive modules, twice a week over a total of 33 hours of virtual classes using the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) standards as a key resource, which are now part of the IFRS Foundation.

Integrating ESG considerations
The Certification in ESG Analysis gives participants the important skills needed to select the best international ESG management and reporting practices available, and takes into account the interaction, relationship and commitment of companies with responsible investors -such as the signatories of the Principles of Responsible Investment (PRI)- who actively integrate ESG factors into their investment processes and policies for selecting and monitoring company investees.
Advancing sustainable finance in Latin American markets
Since 2013, GOVERNART has built a strong track-record of training professionals in ESG matters in association with the Santiago Stock Exchange, and with the support of the IFRS Foundation. As only Specialised Program in ESG Analysis leading to the Certification in ESG Analysis existing in Latin America, through these trainings, GOVERNART provides professionals from various areas and industries in the region, allowing these professional to learn more about ESG matters and the sustainable finance industry more generally.
LuxSE act as the international institution certifying the exam
