Investing in the future of international capital markets
As leaders in our industry with a unique expertise in international capital markets, we see it as our duty to help shape the future of finance. That’s why we have invested in a number of innovative companies that promise to reshape finance for the better.
Origin
In 2019, we invested in London-based fintech company Origin as a way of furthering our contribution to the development of internal capital markets. Origin aims to transform primary markets by simplifying and automating the bond issuance process.
Tetrao
In January 2021, we acquired a 22.8% stake in Luxembourg-based technology company Tetrao International. Tetrao powers its technology with artificial intelligence to provide data services including document, websites and information handling.
FE fundinfo
In September 2022, we finalised a transaction that saw us acquire a stake in global leader in investment fund data and technology, FE fundinfo. FE Fundinfo is an investment fund data and technology provider, offering its solutions to managers, distributors and financial advisors.
Util
In November 2022, we acquired a stake in London-based financial technology company Util. Util uses machine learning to identify and quantify the negative and positive impact of a company’s products on the most pertinent sustainability issues.
