Business Development Specialist

Luxembourg Stock Exchange is looking for a:
Business Development Specialist
Permanent contract (F/M)

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Specialist who can drive business growth by increasing sales of LGX Data products and achieving sales targets, all while fostering strong relationships with our customers.

Tasks/missions
  • Develop, implement and report on a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction;
  • Arrange business development meetings with prospective clients and counterparties;
  • Represent LuxSE in an impeccable manner at all times;
  • Develop and implement a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction;
  • Conduct research to identify new market segments and customer needs;
  • Promote the products and services of LuxSE addressing or predicting client's objectives;
  • Prepare pitches and offers ensuring adherence to internal guidelines;
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople.
Profile
  • Bachelor in economics or finance;
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the financial information industry;
  • Experience in sustainable finance is considered as an advantage;
  • Expertise in conducting Market Analysis;
  • Competency in using CRM table and tools;
  • Capacity to effectively plan and execute business missions;
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg;
  • Skill in performing opportunity analysis and crafting business cases;
  • Understanding of European regulations (including Prospectus, Transparency, Mifid, MAD, etc.);
  • Experience in the development of new products, with a strong taste for innovation;
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to conceptualize and communicate ideas effectively, in addition to excellent writing skills;
  • Time management and planning skills; ability to work under pressure;
  • Proficiency in English and French - any other language is considered as an asset.
